oh, oh, oh! it's just so lovely! i looked outside and saw a soft, fluffy rain rippling the sky and i just had to go out in it! i ran around and giggled and splashed in all the puddles. the rain just felt so delicious on my shoulders. i love the rain and how it always seems to have different personalities. there's the intergenerational rain where it can't seem to decide how big of drops it wants and so you get the plump, happy mother drops and the sharp, spitting grandparents and the bouncy little children. and the soft, melancholy rain that makes you feel as if you're interrupting on someone's private mourning and like you'd want to cry, too, at the beauty of it. near like that you've got the angry rain that seems to want to drown all the world. and then there's the rain that's come right now that feels as if you're just getting kissed by a cloud, and when the cars drive through they make delicate waves for the fairies to dance in. rain like this feels like it's singing.
